CLARKSVILLE, Iowa (KWWL) -- Former Clarksville Police Officer Michael Tobin Junior has been sentenced to 15 years in prison on several counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

    In March 2022, Tobin allegedly showed a minor sexually explicit images and videos that were evidence in a pending criminal case.

    The minor involved reported the incident to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. Tobin’s employment with the Clarksville Police Department was terminated soon afterward.

    Tobin is also named in two other lawsuits filed in June that accuse him of allegedly performing sex acts with teenagers in his patrol vehicle and at the police station.

    guy is actually braindead or something. fucking kids is it’s own level of fucked up, but in the damn police station is a special kind of stupid that I didn’t know existed until today. ‘yeah, let’s commit a crime (several crimes, really), in the place where all the other cops are at. it’s the perfect plan!’
