    I understand the developer, but the complete lack of communication with the community is appalling. and even the subsequent app updates to ad-supported/tracker-packed versions is just disgusting. i understand why tibbi burned out, but the sale process was handled in extremely poor way

    The good thing is that unlike the old QuickPic fiasco, here the apps are GPLv3, so these are 100% gonna be forked, still gonna see if i don’t keep all the eggs on a single basket

    Edit: Until you have alternatives (either forks of these or alternatives), turn off automatic updates for these on both Google Play and FDroid (although if you installed them from FDroid the Google updates should fail anywa because of the different signature)
