1,655 likes, 117 comments - cyrusofchaos on April 15, 2025: "IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: So this flew under the radar but Phil Andrews actually got sent a letter from the US Senate by @sentedcruz threatening our NGB status because we still allow trans athletes to compete in women's events under the grounds that USFA isn't complying with the President's executive order title "Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports" This letter has a bit of misinformation in it so in an attempt to help Ted Cruz learn how to do his job correctly let me clarify something: the Ted Stevens act only allows an NGB to be as restrictive as their national and international parent federations and because the USOPC and the FIE allow the inclusion of trans athletes we have to as well or we would lose our NGB status anyway Things will get more complicated because according to several of my sources the USOPC will vote very soon (probably tomorrow or the day after) about whether to continue up allow the inclusion of trans athletes in women's sports and also according to my sources they will almost certainly vote no. And when that happens USFA will almost certainly be forced to inherit the new inclusivity policy from our national parent body If there's something I misunderstood please let me know and I will fix it, unlike Ted Cruz I want to make sure I fully understand something before I take action on it As before when you discuss be civil or you will be restricted and your comments will be removed".
